I’ve made a few videos on the road and posted them HERE
At the moment, there are only a couple from China up, but I hope to get some of the India footage together over the long, cold Prague winter.
I make everything “in the field” using a Sony Z1U in 1080i 50 HDV mode with a Century Optics wide angle adapter and edited on Final Cut Pro with a 15″ MacBook Pro. For the site, I encoded using Sorenson Squeeze’s On2 VP6 codec at 720×576. I don’t use any tripods, filters or any of that good stuff. Too heavy. I also don’t script anything, which will quickly become obvious

Your videos are brilliant- I was in Yangshuo last year and your wonderful video brought back so many memories….. Heading off to Lijiang next month and clearly have a treat in store! Thank you
